Thom Hume

Hume Engineers was started by Thom, a central coast native, in 1993. After working for other engineering firms in Southern California, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, Thom opened his own office to pursue projects throughout the central coast. Prior to that, Thom worked in the construction industry with his father and then attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. These past engineering and construction experiences helped develop a philosophy that focuses on providing efficient engineering solutions that can be easily constructed.
