Water Tank Residence Conversion
At Hume Engineers, we thrive on engineering challenges that push the boundaries of design and function. Our latest project transformed a decommissioned concrete water tank into a stunning modern residence, seamlessly blending industrial history with contemporary luxury.
Miramar Beach House
This two-story remodel features full height gable windows in the kitchen and living room to take advantage of the beachside views.
Carpinteria Multifamily Residence
This new, multifamily residential building in Carpinteria consists of two stories of wood framing over a concrete podium parking garage. The site posed many challenges including tight property lines, liquefaction and a very high water table. The mat foundation was used to mitigate the liquefaction and high water table. The mat foundation also resulted in a substantial cost savings over a traditional cast-in-place pile foundation.
Equestrian Pen and Stables
This equestrian pen and stables were constructed for retired race horses.
